TITLE DESCRIPTION DEADLINE
A 2year postdoc at Imperial College London.
The position is funded by an EPSRC grant to study the enumerative algebraic geometry of VafaWitten theory.
Depending on the expertise of the candidate, this will involve some of the following topics: enumerative invariants (cohomological or Ktheoretic) in algebraic geometry, the geometry or geometric representation theory of Hilbert schemes of points on surfaces, the study of coherent sheaves – and their derived categories – on algebraic varieties, deformation theory of sheaves and virtual fundamental classes, derived algebraic geometry, wall crossing formulae, virtual localisation calculations.
