DEADLINE |
Grants from the RGAS |
An open call for grants from RGAS (Red de Geometria Algebraica y Singularidades) is open now. These are specially oriented to graduate students and recent Ph.D. fellows. More info can be found here. |
Open call |
A 3-year postdoc position at the University of Edinburgh |
Applications are invited for two 3-year postdoc position on the EPSRC Programme Grant "Enhancing Representation Theory, Noncommutative Algebra and Geometry through Moduli, Stability and Deformations". One post is based at the University of Glasgow, and one post is based at the University of Edinburgh. Candidates are encouraged to apply for both, and indeed they must do so if they wish to be considered for both positions. This project combines the expertise of Arend Bayer, Tom Bridgeland, Iain Gordon, Agata Smoktunowicz and Michael Wemyss across algebraic geometry, noncommutative algebra and representation theory, to develop common methodology and to answer a variety of questions in each topic. The post-holder will also be encouraged to pursue their own, and newly arising, research questions. |

Several two-year postdoctoral positions at Stockholm University |
Stockholm University announces several two-year postdoctoral positions within algebra and geometry, including in particular algebraic or arithmetic geometry, topology and representation theory. More information about the positions and how to apply may be found here. Successful applicants will be funded by Wushi Goldring's or Dan Petersen's Wallenberg Academy Fellowship grant. In the announcement text, there are some remarks about candidates with a doctoral degree older than 3 years; this is purely administrative and can safely be ignored. |
