Activities of the IUMA
Colloquia
The IUMA promotes the dissemination activity by organizing colloquia, consinting in a conference given by a prestigious researcher and dissminator. The talk is followed by a debate with the speaker.
Dissemination
The IUMA develop activities for the dissemination of mathematics, organizing workshops, summer courses, thematic campus, etc.
Thematic days
TheIUMA organizes several kind of research activities. For example thematic days, which often are called IUMA days, y consist on a series of talks given during a journay by experts on the topic.
Seminars
Research groups organize seminars, consisting of lectures given periodically along each academic year. In particular, we can mention the Seminario Rubio de Francia, which recently celebrated its 1000th conference.
Workshops
The IUMA also organizes workshops and conferences, lasting from three days to one week.
Bulletins
The IUMA periodically publishes a digital bulletin which informs about the most important activities to be developed at the Institute.
