“Generic nilpotent algebras and their gradings”

Abstract:
The talk is based on a joint paper with Alexander Olshanskii accepted in Int. J. Alg. Comp. We intoduce the structure of an algebraic variety on a set V(n,c) on n-generated nilpotent of class c algebras in a primitive class V of algebras over an algebraically closed field k.The algebras in the component of the highest dimension are called generic and their properties are called generic. We will mention a number of these properties and also classify all grading by abelian
groups on generic algebras.
